Crew Information Summary
To be added – Crew Ops

This undated photo was taken sometime during their posting (August to November 1944), outside the "Respirator Workshop", the favoured location of many crew photos at Driffield. (Ref: 466-462 Association, the crew photo at Driffield was dated 06 October 1944.)

The usual Halifax crew number was seven, however in this photo there are eight. Other than Pilot TRIGGS, no other man was definitely identified by name or crew position (from the TRIGGS family).

Tentative identification of Air Gunners MEDWAY and NICHOLLS by comparison with identified gunners in 2nd Crew of Fl/Lt McGINDLE, and with NICHOLLS photo below.
Tentative identification of RAF Flight Engineer REYNOLDS, due to his lighter coloured RAF uniform. Tentative identification of Bomb Aimer REVELL and Navigator WORRALL by comparison with group photos of Bomb Aimers and Navigators, 466 Squadron, January 1945 (in "Brave & True"), shown on the Carthy Crew 17 page.
By process of elimination, the Wireless Operator would be back row, 2nd from left. W/Op MOYLE was identified by comparison with the RODGERS Crew 10 photo.

Identification was revised for site renewal 06 April 2020, after the location of a "Index list of Captions" for photos (but no photos), originally received with files from the 466-462 Association. Names in that list for the TRIGGS crew, matched the tentative names, with the addition of WHEELER.

Triggs was a Warrant Officer at the time of his posting to 462 Squadron, in August 1944.
